As partners, Don and Ralph offer a unique, synergistic approach to find the right property for each client. Combining their Real Estate knowledge and expertise, specifically in property management, sales and vacation rentals, has led them to some of the most competitive sales listings on Gasparilla Island (aka Boca Grande). Together, they have successfully listed and sold Boca Grande, Cape Haze, Rotonda and surrounding barrier islands’ residential homes, condos, town homes, villas, and beach front estates, as well as vacant home sites (beachfront, bayside and interior locations). In addition, they have completed sales of commercial properties and development acreage in various parts of Florida State.
Ralph and Don are on the leading edge of technology. Utilizing the latest business tools, they’ve developed a free iPhone application titled “Boca Grande Vacation,” as well as a very effective, personalized “sales only” client search system. This system offers two primary benefits to their clients: a pulse and a competitive advantage in the market place. This 24/7 service system immediately delivers an email to their interested clients whenever a listed property is updated, added, deleted, goes pending or is sold.

Randy is a native of the Chicago area, and graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1982. He had vacationed in this area since the 1970’s, and his love for Florida led him to move here permanently in 1984. Randy and his wife of 33 years, Judy, have three young-adult sons, Matthew (26), Dan (25), and Joe (23), who have graduated from Florida State University, in Tallahassee, Florida. Randy enjoyed coaching his sons for over a decade in YMCA and USSSA basketball leagues, and is proud of all three who were all captains of their respective high school varsity teams. They also grew up as altar servers at Boca Grande’s Our Lady of Mercy parish, where Randy and Judy are active members.
Randy began his real estate career in 1985 and joined the Boca Grande Club’s sales team in 1986, where he marketed gulf and bay condominiums and homes. In 1989, Randy was invited to join the newly created sales force at Boca Grande’s premier waterfront community known as Boca Bay, on the southern end of Gasparilla Island. Over the next eleven years, Randy exclusively handled sales and marketing of all seven Boca Bay neighborhoods. When new construction sold out in 2000, Randy became one of the principal broker/owners at Gasparilla Properties where he expanded his sales and management career for almost 14 years. He has consistently performed in the top 1% of sales volume among the local Board of Realtors every year, and is fortunate to have been involved in several hundred million dollars of closed transactions.
More recently, Randy is focused on serving his many valued real estate customers as he assists the longest serving real estate office on the island — Boca Grande Real Estate, in expanding their sales division. Come and see his downtown office next to the Post Office, at the corner of 4th Street and Park Avenue. Or visit him at their Boca Bay branch office at the historic Power House building, across from the world-class gulf front Boca Bay Pass Club venue.
Randy’s real estate services include unrivaled knowledge of all seven Boca Bay neighborhoods. He also specializes in sales and listings of properties on Boca Grande and the Cape Haze peninsula. His decades of experience and his long-time commitment to Gasparilla Island and the surrounding area will benefit buyers and sellers as they navigate the sales process. Randy looks forward to working with each of you and helping new buyers to discover this hidden gem called Boca Grande.
Randy has been blessed to have his good friend and co-worker, Connie Portell, a licensed Florida Realtor, as his Real Estate Assistant for over 16 years.
Call Randy anytime on his cell at 941-204-0015 or contact him via email at: Randy@bgre1.com
Connie was born and raised in Michigan and moved in 2000 to Southwest Florida with her husband, Jim, and son Vinnie, who is currently attending the University of South Florida. Prior to starting her family, Connie invested 14 years as the Customer Service Manager for Graco Corporation in Michigan.
Once settled in this area Connie wasted no time obtaining her Florida real estate license and joined Randy Wojcik as his Real Estate Assistant, along with developing her own career. Over the years Connie has become an “expert” in vacant land opportunities in and around the golf course community of Rotonda, and has also involved herself with properties located on the Cape Haze peninsula.
Connie is also a partner/owner in a local real estate service company known as Gasparilla Home Watch, LLC. Connie and her husband Jim are the driving force behind Gasparilla Home Watch, which was established over 10 years ago to assist our many clients who require and appreciate the comprehensive list of services provided to them as absentee property owners. At this time Jim and Connie combine to meticulously oversee several properties primarily in and around Boca Grande.
Connie is an integral part of our team and has earned the respect and admiration of the entire staff by consistently sharing her outstanding work ethic along with her unselfish willingness to help others.
