Whether you choose to view wildlife from land or sea, bird watching in Boca Grande, Florida is truly a breathtaking experience. Birdwatchers will be delighted at the numbers of different species of shore birds, wading birds and birds of prey that are easily viewed from land. With a little more effort you can rent a kayak or hire a guide to boat and visit one of the many rookery keys or cruise the many miles of pristine mangrove shoreline. Bring a good pair of binoculars and expect to see between 30 and 60 different species of birds in a week.
